Frederick GeorgeHICKSIt is with great sadness that the family announce that on Tuesday 23rd April 2024, whilst in the care of St Margaret's Nursing Home, Grimsby - with his family by his side, Fred aged 93 years sadly passed away. A dearly loved and devoted husband of Eleanor. A much-loved dad of Philip, Sheila, Graham, Sarah and the late Peter. A loving father-in-law of Paula, John and Angela. A cherished granddad of Heather, Felicity, Adam, Annabelle, Gemma, Jack, Lucy, Georgia and Ellie and great granddad of Deacon, Juliette, Elliott, Primrose, Amelie, Madeline, Theo and Noah. Fred was a great friend to many and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A funeral service to celebrate Fred's life will be held at St Marks Church, Laceby Road, Grimsby on Monday 20th May at 10:00am followed by committal at Scartho Road Cemetery.
