Ernest David Tom (Tom)HIGGINSof Street passed peacefully away at Frome Community Hospital on 3rd June 2022 aged 92. Dearly loved husband of Norma, brother, dad and grandad. Family cremation. Thanksgiving Service at Street United Reformed Church on Thursday 23rd June at 2.30pm. Please wear colourful clothing. Family flowers only. Donations if desired for British Heart Foundation may be made online (via funeral-notices.co.uk) or forwarded to Forsey and Son, Funeral Directors, Willowfields, Lowerside Lane, Glastonbury BA6 9GY.

Just found out tonight, sorry we couldn't have been there. Uncle Tom was the kindest and most gentle man, he along with Auntie Norma were always there and supported us with Nanna. Luckily Helen got to meet Tom along with Norma and Nanna just before Oli was born, that afternoon together will always stay in our hearts, Norma's amazing salmon sandwiches and Uncle Tom and Aunty Norma's love and support will live with us forever. Your name will live on through our Tom, hopefully he will be as kind, loving and generous man as you were. Lots of love Norma, our thoughts are with as with the rest of the family. A legend of a man has been lost, but he will live on forever in our thoughts xxx
