I met Neil and Helen in Lucca in 2018. I was immediately taken with them: they were so lovely, friendly, and funny. RIP Neil, I didn't get to know you very well, but I will always remember your smile and kindness. With much sadness, tempered with the joy of meeting you, Brette

So many great memories, so many laughs so many pints, I think back fondly to the gang having a little to much to drink and stopping off at MacCarthys strawberry field for a midnight snack..I’m going to miss you beer monster

Neil was my buddy when we were at Blakeney Primary school. We always had a laugh together and he spent hours on the village green in Wiveton with me, teaching me how to play football. I got to meet the lovely Helen at Blakeney one summer when we were all back visiting to see the infamous greasy pole. I can’t believe you’re gone Neil. Way too young. Sending all my love to Helen, Karl and John xxx

Neil, you will and always will be in our hearts. What you and Helen did for our son Chris was amazing, you took Chris and helped him through a very rough time while he was away from his family in Hobart, Tasmania. I will miss our chats on Facebook, but not as much as I will miss you. Thinking of you Helen, please know we are and always will be here for you. - Love your Australian family...😘😘

Words will never do justice to this. So sorry to hear of Neil's passing. My thoughs are with Helen and the High and Riley families at this time. Neil was a good man and the world is poorer now that he is no longer with us. I'll cast a line for you next time I'm out fishing mate.

It was a pleasure to know Neil. Although I met him through work and he was a colleague, he became a good friend. He was the type of person that was always reducing you to tears with his jokes, but also the person you could have an honest conversation with if you were having a tough time and somehow, he would alwas make you feel lighter by the end of it. He was such a warm, caring, gentle and kind person, always putting others first and he would always find ways to bring some fun into the office.

I'll miss you dearly Neil and my heart goes out to his lovely wife Helen, who I know he adored and thought the world of.

Rest peacefully Neil.

I had the absolute pleasure to know Neil after co-ordinating his and Helen’s wedding, I absolutely loved how friendly and kind they were always with us at the Hotel and completely humbled by the fact that they even invited some of us to join them and their Wedding Party after we had finished working. Their relationship was inspiring and their positive attitude towards everyone was infectious! It was lovely that they kept in touch with us and especially when Neil came back to work with us at the Hotel. My heart goes out to wonderful Helen and their families and friends. Neil will be missed xx
