OliveHOLLAND (Née Evans)HOLLAND - OLIVE (Née Evans), June 1, 2021. Peacefully at The Gables Care Home, Penmaenmawr. Aged 84 years. Of Penrhyn Bay. Loving wife of Len, and devoted mother of Neils, Janet and Clare. Doting grandmother to James, Chelsey, Jamie, Zander and Zeren and the late Conner. A much loved sister, aunt and friend to many. Olive will be very sadly missed. Funeral service on Tuesday 15th June 2021 at St Hilary's Church Llanrhos, at 1.45pm, followed by a family committal at Denbighshire Memorial Park and Crematorium at 3.00pm. Due to current restrictions the funeral will be invite only. Family flowers only by request. Donations in memory of Olive can be made to the Alzheimer's Society and will be gratefully received c/o Lord-Brown & Harty Funeral Directors, 12 Trinity Square, Llandudno, Conwy, LL30 2RA. Heaven has gained a beautiful, kind and caring angel and you will be dearly missed. I hope you can now rest in peace.

This poem seems to ring true;

You didn't die just recently,
You died some time ago.
Although your body stayed a while,
And didn't really know.
For you had got Alzheimer's,
You failed to comprehend.
Your body went on living.
But your mind had reached its end.
So we've already said, "Goodbye",
To the person that we knew.
The person that we truly loved,
The person that was, "You".
We'll concentrate on earlier times,
And remember all the best.
For in the real scheme of things,
Your illness wasn't long.
Compared to all the happiness,
You brought your whole life long.
We think of you as yesterday,
When you were fit and well.
And when we're asked about you,
It's those things that we'll tell.
And so we meet in remembrance,
Of a mind so fit and true.
We're here to pay our last respects
To say that, "We love you".

Until we meet again, goodnight and god bless.
