DerekHOLT11th August 2022 Peacefully at home, in the presence of his family, former proprietor of Tu Hwnt i'r Bont Café, Llanrwst, aged 84 years. The dearly loved husband of the late Ellen, father of David and the late Chris, father-in-law of Julie and a cherished grandad of Sam and Joe. He will be sadly missed by family and many friends. Funeral 12 noon, Wednesday 24th August 2022 at Trefriw Cemetery, for a simple graveside farewell. No flowers please, but if desired donations in his memory will be gratefully accepted towards Macmillan Cancer Support, per G LLOYD JONES FUNERAL DIRECTOR The Star, Ancaster Square, Llanrwst. So sorry to hear this about Mr Holt … I used to supply him Ellen and Chris with salad stuff in the 90s. He was such a happy man. Likewise Chris .. miss them all much love

So sorry to hear the sad news. Mr Holt was a lovely kind gentleman . I worked as a waitress in Ty Hwnt i’r Bont in the 70’s and he put up with my teenage moods! Will miss his Christmas letters too. Glenys Airey (was Williams - formerly Tan y Berllan Trefriw)
