John LeslieHOPKINSON(Hoppy) (ex Courtaulds) John passed away on 31st May 2020 at his home with his son Neil and daughter Linda by his side. Devoted husband of the late Carol, loving father to the late Sonia, much loved grandad to Danielle, Alexandria, Thomas, William and Grace, great grandad to May and Teddy, and generous friend to many, he will be sadly missed. Due to the ongoing covid pandemic a private family service will take place at Grimsby Crematorium on Friday 12th June 2020 at 9.20am. No flowers please by request. Donations in lieu, if so desired may be made payable to "Marie Curie" and sent to Mashfords Funeral Home, Norfolk Lane Cleethorpes DN35 8BB. All enquiries. Tel. 01472 200004.

So very sorry, he was a special little bean and we had many a good chat and laugh trying to put the world to rights,he was a special friend and will be sadly missed.

Sorry to hear about John, he was a great guy, he built my mother's house back in the 60s I am sure he will be sadly missed. Susan (Coulbeck) as was.
