Our dear Mrs Jeffers will truly be missed by everyone who had the honour of knowing her. I know her family so when I found I’d be working with her I was happy. We worked together on night duty at Glenfield Community Hospital many years ago, caring for elderly patients. It was clear how much she loved her family. She talked and talked throughout the night about her husband and each of her children and grandchildren. She’d share wonderful stories about them. She would also impart her wisdom if ever I needed her advice. I remember her as a generous, kind and warm person. I’ll never forget her smile. My prayers and thoughts are with the family, and also the friends and colleagues whose lives she certainly touched with positivity and love. Sleep in peace dear Mrs Jeffers, until we meet again when our Jesus returns.
