PeterJEFFORDJEFFORD (Gateshead). In memory of Peter, who sadly passed away on 17th September 2011, aged 50 years. My precious friend took ill in Dominic's Cafe on Saltwell Road, Many many thanks go out to Pam, the owner of the cafe who very kindly took control of the situation. Peter was the best friend I ever had, these few words give a brief picture of Peter, he was selfless, kind, considerate, loyal and spiritual. I miss you so very much dear Peter (companion), and I hope that the higher power that you believed in has granted you the peace and tranquillity you so deserve. I'll always, always love you my dear friend, all my love, Bev Shaw (Little Tree).x

If this Peter who I worked with as a Social Worker in Newcastle in 1990's, then I am sadden to hear this news, even if ten years too late. Peter was a kind, gentle and very caring person, who felt deeply about his Humanistic values & ethics; which were not always understood by those around him.
