Kate and I worked closely together for several years. She was a real character - always willing, quick to learn and invariably up for a laugh. She was a huge help to me as we sat together hour after hour, proofreading reports - and pointing out my grammatical errors and logical inconsistencies. My thoughts are with her whole family - but especially with her two ‘boys’, whom she loved so dearly. Kate - you’d approve of my use of whom! May you rest in peace.
