BrianJOBLINGWhickham (formerly Pelaw). Died peacefully in St Bedes hospice with his family around him on August 22nd, aged 69 years. Dearly loved husband of Pamela and devoted dad to Katie and Sophie. A much loved brother in law, uncle and great uncle. Brian will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Service and cremation to be held at Saltwell Crematorium on Wednesday 7th September at 9.45am Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired to Phoenix Unit Sunderland and St Bedes hospice. A donation box will be available at the service. I am so sad to hear that Brian has passed away. We met over 50 years ago and became great friends while working at Marconi Radar. We had many adventures in his Dad's old red Austin camping in the Lake District and sampling the heady delights of Butlin's Filey. Dot remembers my Mam laughing at Brian's feet sticking out of my bed on our wedding day. Brian did a great job as best man and didn't embarrass me too much with his speech. After the wedding we lost contact, my moving
house, and both of us changing jobs. He was a great guy.
