Austin JamesJONESOf Helston Passed away peacefully on the 2nd June 2020 at Hendra Court Nursing Home, Par, following a short illness. Austin was born in Liverpool on 9th July 1928. He joined the Royal Navy at the age of 17 and whilst travelling the world he experienced times of both conflict and peace. He lived and raised his family in both Australia and New Zealand, before returning to the UK making his home in Helston and beginning a new career at Goonhilly Satellite Earth Station on the Lizard Peninsula. A beloved husband to his late wife Doreen and a most loving Dad to his late children Mark and Karen. He is now at peace and together again with his loved ones. It is with great love we his family and friends will remember him and for his deeds done in showing us all care we will remain forever grateful. Farewell!
