BrianSTANFORDSadly passed away on Tuesday 28th September 2021 at Morriston Hospital. Loving husband of the late Marian, dearly loved father of Linda, David, Donna, Elaine and the late Phillip, adored Grampa of Michael, Laura, Rhianon, Ryan, Sophie, Jason, Daniel, Rachel, Justin and the late Lee, proud Grampa to all his great-grandchildren, dear father-in-law to Edward, Joanne and Yvonne. Funeral on Friday 8th October. Leaving his daughters home at 12.15pm for a service at Margam Abbey at 12.30pm followed by interment at Margam Cemetery at 1.15pm. The family invite you to join them at Blanco’s for light refreshments following the funeral. Further enquiries to Mr. Gareth A. Mike Thorne from Bristol didn’t know until searching for Brian after not hearing from him for a few months.
Mike and Brian served in Malaya in 1957-1958 together from the day one and was always in contact from then on.
Mike and his wife June are very sorry to hear of this sad news.
Thoughts are with you all.
