What a fantastic lady, helped me so much when I started my apprenticeship in the Steel Works, always approachable, she was like a Mother to us all. Such sad news and will always be remembered. XX

Well Mrs B, what can I say. From the very first introductions you became our second mother, with Julie at your side you acted as mother, trainer, advisor and carer.
You have certainly shaped and impacted so many lives it’s probably beyond counting. You touched the hearts of so many and not just apprentices, work colleagues admired you.
So, whilst I said it when I left all those years ago, I’ll say it again, now that you have left us, thank you.
Thank you for all that you did and who you were, thank you for being one of the people in my life that made a lasting impression to this day and for many more to come, and until we meet again rest well Josie and keep a space up there for us all.
God bless
