HannahKELLYMrs Hannah Kelly, of Haslingden, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 12, aged 86, after a short illness. Hannah leaves behind her loving husband Tom, children Stephen and Geraldine and the late Kieran, grandchildren Roseanna, Lucy, Jake and Erin, and great-grandchildren Poppy and Ivy, all of whom will miss her dearly. She was also a cherished sister to her brother Michael and the late Paddy and Seamus, and her late sisters Betty and Margaret, as well as many other nieces and nephews. Born in County Clare, Ireland, Hannah came to Haslingden in the late 1950s, where she lived for the rest of her life. She was a lifelong active parishioner of St Mary’s RC Church and also enjoyed Irish set dancing, and took part in many dances and ceilidhs in the surrounding area. She will be sadly missed by those who knew her. Hannah’s Requiem Mass will be held at 1pm on Friday, September 24 at St Mary’s RC Church, Haslingden, followed by interment in Haslingden Cemetery at 2.15pm, conducted by Fr. John Broadley.
