MaureenKINSEYIt is with great sadness that the family announce the death of Maureen Kinsey aged 52, who passed away at home on December 18 after a brave and determined fight with cancer. Maureen will be sorely missed by husband Stephen, mother Eunice, children Craig, Gary and Sian and their wife and partners Christina, Craig, Helen and grandchildren. She was a much loved sister to Raymond and Janet, sister-in-law to Roger, Gwyneth and Bryan and aunt to Delyth. We would like to thank friends, family and colleagues at Prince Charles Hospital for their support and kindness which has been greatly appreciated during this difficult time. Special thanks to all medical staff at Ynysdawel Ward at Aberdare Hospital, Velindre Hospital, Cancer Aid and the District Nurses whose level of care during the last few days was outstanding. The Funeral Service was conducted by Reverend Matthew Gibbon who provided a lovely Service at St Mathias Church, which was full to capacity. Mark Hopkins, a member of the family gave a moving tribute during the Service that showed a true reflection of Maureen's character and made an emotional Service more bearable. The Funeral arrangements were carried out by John Davies Funeral Directors who as always showed compassion and respect. The family are touched by the generosity of others by way of flowers and donations which have been gratefully received and will be forwarded to Cancer Aid, Merthyr Tydfil. Maureen will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her; she touched the lives of so many. Her humour, beauty and sensitivity will not be forgotten. You were the best Mam! We will love and miss you always - Craig, Gary and Sian. xxx
