William (Bill)KNOX(Tynemouth) Bill passed away peacefully on Monday 2nd August in the Freeman Hospital. Beloved husband of Joan, loving Father and Father-in-law to Gillian & Chris and Barry & Carolyn. Devoted Grandad to Louise, Jenny, Rachel and Andrew. Bill will be sorely missed by all family and friends. Please meet at Tynemouth Crematorium on Thursday 12th August at 9:45am. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to go to Cancer Research UK, Prostate Cancer UK and the British Heart Foundation. All are welcome back after the service to Tynemouth Golf Club to celebrate Bill's life.

We only learned of Bill's death yesterday so apologies for the delay in offering our sincere condolences. Bill and Joan moved into Linthorpe Road at the same time as my parents back in the 50s. Uncle Bill was a lovely man and a good neighbour. My mother was shocked and saddened when I broke the news to her last night. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
