MichaelLEEPassed away peacefully at Scraptoft Court Nursing Home on Sunday 17th January 2021, aged 83. A wonderful loving Husband to Valerie, special Dad to Timothy and cherished Grandad to Jennifer and Rebecca. Michael graduated in Physics at Leicester University. He taught at Humphrey Perkins School, Barrow on Soar and married Valerie at St Mary's Church, Knighton in 1964, he will be deeply missed by all that knew him. Michael's funeral service will take place at Great Glen Crematorium on Friday 5th February at 12.30pm. Family flowers only by request with donations if desired for the benefit of Alzheimers Society, These can be sent direct to the charity at Alzheimers Society, Scott Lodge, Scott Road, Plymouth, PL2 3DU with any further enquiries to Co-operative Funeralcare, 131 Humberstone Road, Leicester LE5 3AD Tel 0116 2516906.

Michael was a wonderful friend and neighbour. Many, many exciting times spent in his company including family occasions, picnics at National Trust venues, Barnsdale playing tennis and swimming to name but a few. Michael could talk to anyone and often did. Always ready to lend a helping hand and always a tale to tell. We shall miss a truly lovely human being. We will always be there for Val and she is in our thoughts and prayers as she comes to terms with her sad loss. Michael was always very good with our daughter Victoria always taking an interest in what she achieved. We have so many fond memories that will always remain with us. Rest in peace Micheal.

We are very sorry that Mike Lee has died. We have known him and Val for over 20 years and were happy to welcome them into our extended family when their son Tim married our daughter Debbie.
We have memories of many enjoyable times in their company and always found Mike to be friendly and fun. We shall miss seeing and talking to him.
