RosaleenLEONARDIt is with great sadness that the family of Rosaleen Leonard announce her passing, following a short illness at the age of 59. Born in Rawtenstall, Rosaleen passed in her adopted home of San Diego, California on 24th August with her partner, Kerri, by her side. Beloved daughter of Jean, and the late George, Rosaleen leaves behind her mum, sisters Dympna and Eileen and brother George as well as brothers-in-law Pat and Stephen. She also leaves nephews Jed and Finn, niece Amber and great niece Mariella. Remembered for her kind and honest nature as well as her adventurous spirit Rosaleen will be missed by many.

I'm really sorry (and shocked) to hear this sad news. Rosaleen was lovely and I enjoyed talking with her when we were in the sixth form. I only discovered she had passed away when I googled her name today, which I think is her birthday. Richard

To Rosaleen’s family, you probably won’t remember me. Rosaleen was my everything as a friend when we were 18-ish. I remember you all so well and I was only thinking about her and Dympna a couple of weeks ago. I’m so sorry for your loss. God bless her and all of you. Lynne McDermott
