SallyLIVINGSTONE (nee Brown)Christened Sarah but known always as Sally, Mum was reunited with our beloved Dad, Eddie, on 24th May 2022. Aged 92 years, she was the last of her generation in our family, a wonderful mum and grandma. Mum was born and grew up in Church Street, Sutton, part of the Bayes/Brown family who owned the fish and chip shop there from the 1930's to 1976. Aged 9 when war broke out, Mum remained with her family in Sutton throughout, choosing not to be evacuated. At 17 she joined the army, then later went to the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art before going into repertory theatre, until marriage and motherhood beckoned when she met our Dad. Moving to Hornsea in 1975, Mum got involved in Hornsea WI, becoming President, Treasurer and Secretary at various times. Also, a keen member of the darts team and WI choir. Life slowed down for Mum in her later years with reduced mobility and Alzheimer's but her main love throughout has always been her family. One of a kind, she will be truly missed. We are saying goodbye to Mum at 2:15pm on Thursday 16th June 2022 at Hornsea Methodist Church. Family flowers only, please, but donations if desired would be appreciated by The Alzheimer's Society in Mum's memory.
