Doreen 'Doe' JoyceMASONAged 91 years of South Brent, died peacefully at Windward Care Home on the morning of 14th January 2021. Beloved wife of Roland, much loved mother to Frank and Christine and step mother to Paul and Jonathan. A treasured Grandmother and Great Grandmother, she will be greatly missed by all her family and many friends. Due to COVID restrictions a small private funeral service will be held at St. Petroc's Church following which Doreen's ashes will be interred in the cemetery. When it is safe to do so a memorial service and celebration of Doreen's life will be held. The family wish to extend their gratitude to Geraldine and the devotedly caring staff at Windward Care Home for all the love and compassion they have shown Doreen during her time in their care. Donations in memory of Doreen may be given to South Brent Community Centre. Gill & Eales Funeralcare, Buckfastleigh. 01364 642361

Dear Roland,
We send you our deepest sympathy, and will remember you and Doe walking round the village, she always had such a lovely smile, even when life became difficult for her. The last years must have been so difficult and we so admired your courage and faithfulness.
We’ll look forward to getting together when times are better.
