SusanMASSEY28th December 2020. Peacefully at Calderdale Royal Hospital, aged 73 years and of Newsome. Susan, A much loved mum to Caroline and David, loving sister to Colin, devoted grandma of Maddie, Michael and Bethany, great grandma of Faith and Karter, also a fantastic mother in law to Amanda, Tony and a good friend to many. A private funeral will be held at Huddersfield Crematorium on the 26th January. Family flowers only please but donations if so desired to Dementia UK which can be sent directly or C/O The D.J. Screen & Sons Funeral Home, Fartown, HD1 6LJ. A webcast will be available for friends that cannot attend the private funeral, please contact the funeral home for login details.

My heart sunk the moment I got the message to say you had grown your wings 😢 I will always remember our conversations where you used to tell me never to have a boyfriend go party and have fun live your life as boyfriends are dumb and that I don’t need one and when we used to sit there with a cig and a brew and talk rubbish about people we didn’t like❤️I loved you like you were my own grandma sue and I will always love you no matter what! I love you and miss you so much grandma suesy doosey😭❤️
