We knew each other from WI, I once framed a picture for you, that you had embroidered yourself. Deepest sympathy to all the family.

A truly lovely lady. We met her in Singapore in 1986 as NEI Parsons were building a new power station ... Max was the senior representative from the company, Dorathea who was residing in Singapore with Max made all wives /girlfriends of the project team so welcome when they visited Singapore to visit their husbands / boyfriends. The kindness and compassion shown by Dorathea to my wife Barbara and our 2 toddlers will never be forgotten and so much appreciated.....Happy days enhanced by a true lady who went out of her way to make everyone welcome...treating us to some home comforts...I will never forget her infamous pie and pea suppers to give us North Easterners a taste of home !!
