KathleenMAYESIt is with great sadness to announce the loss of Kathleen Mayes aged 76 who passed away 12th August 2022 following a brave and determined battle against Alzheimer's. Much loved Wife and Mum to Alan and Trudi. Kath's memory will continue to live on, always with us never apart, in our hearts and never forgotten. A beautiful person in so many ways. Best known to everyone in the local area as 'the lady on the bike with the ribbons', dressed in her different colour cycling gear, she was out every day come rain or shine taking in the beautiful scenery and meeting people along the way. Kath's idea of Heaven, on her favourite bike 'best bluey' doing what she loved best. A funeral service will be held on Thursday 15th September at Treswithian Downs Crematorium at 11am for anyone wishing to attend. Donations in lieu of flowers for Marie Curie will be received at service or can be sent c/o W J Winn Funeral Directors, Trenwith Terrace, St Ives, TR26 1QE.
