Marjorie EMEANWELLPassed away peacefully on 11th September, 2021 in Lincoln County Hospital at the age of 92 after a brief illness. Predeceased by a daughter Sharon, who died in infancy, and her husband Jack in 2004, Marjorie will be greatly missed by her three sons and their wives, Nick (Pat), Nigel (Carol) and Neil (Sherrie). Born in Coddington, Nottinghamshire, in 1929, she moved with her family to Kirkstead Bridge Garage, Woodhall Spa, in 1970, and remained a fixture there for the next 51 years, running the car repair business with Jack, Nigel, Carol and Steve. She had an indomitable spirit and was fiercely independent to the very end. She never retired and was present at the business most days of the week, demonstrating an incredible work ethic that set a standard for family members. In her role as a business owner, she was well known in the local community and well-liked by many. She always placed her family above everything else and was a wonderful grandmother to Emily, Stephen, Jamie, Kirsty, Debbie, Michael and Jason. Over the last 17 years, she travelled by herself to the USA and Canada to visit two of her sons and their families, and we all have many cherished memories of those trips. Funeral service to be held at St Peter's Church Woodhall Spa on Wednesday 6th October 2021 at 2pm followed by cremation at Boston.
