ColinMILLERColin passed away peacefully at the Royal Derby Hospital on Saturday 15th January 2022, aged 78 years. Beloved husband of Ann, dearly loved dad of Janey and Dan, adored grandad of Noah and Rebekah. Loved by his sister Barbara, and by Joby and Mel. Colin will be fondly remembered by friends and by the many hundreds of singers who have sung over the years with Voices, The City of Derby Girls Choir which he co-founded; and by those who enjoyed visiting Derby's VoiceBox of which he was the owner-director. A service celebrating Colin's life is to be held at St. Edmund's Church, Allestree on Monday 7th February 2022 at 3.00pm; all are welcome. The service follows the private committal at Markeaton Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations are invited for Alzheimer's Research UK & Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy. These can be made online at www.georgesimnett.co.uk or given at the service.
