I always enjoyed my walks with John. He always knew the route and it always ended at a watering hole and was very good company. His milometer was very inaccurate though, which resulted in considerable aches the following day. I’m so very sorry that I didn't get out on the hills with him more. It was such a shock because he was so fit.
Our sincere condolences to you and your family Leslie. We will certainly miss him at FFF.

Such a shock. John was a lovely man, always seemed cheerful and bright. We have happy memories of him at Fegla Fach. To see him striding off across the fields to Barmouth. Memories of sitting around campfires late into the night. Wonderful memories of the Tales told of his exploits at Fegla.
Thank you John for the fun and laughter, those are the memories we will treasure.
Missing you, big hugs to Lesley.

This was a shock to everyone who new John. One of the last things he said to me was, sorry for the loss of my wife Sue who passed away recently & days later he was taken so suddenly.
He's probably enjoying a couple of pints in his favourite pub somewhere.
Cheers. R.I.P. John.
My condolences to Lesley & family.
Thinking of you at this very sad time.

John was one of the kindest men we have known and will always be remembered striding out across the hills and fields, which he loved so much. Our thoughts are with his family at this very sad time. Always in our hearts and minds
