TrevorMURDIE(Newbiggin-by-the-Sea, formerly North Seaton, Ashington) passed away suddenly aged 69 years on Wednesday 30th August 2023.

He is survived by Carole, his brother John; sisters-in-law Pauline and Joan; his brother in law Keith also his children Kelly and Graham, son-in law Frank and grandson Dean.

Trev was an absolute gentleman, made time for everyone and was the life and soul of every party. He was much loved and will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday 13th September. Church service will be at St. Bartholomew's Church, Newbiggin at 2pm followed by a service at Blyth Crematorium at 3.15pm.

The celebration of life will be held at The Queen's Head Porters, Newbiggin thereafter - family and friends are all welcome to attend. Please join us to pay your respects to this wonderful man, to celebrate his life and raise a glass to him at his local pub.

Family flowers only by request. Any donations given will be shared with the RNLI and St Bartholomew's.

Please wear something red or orange, in tribute to the teams that were close to Trev's heart; York City and Castleford Tigers.

I find it difficult and I’m still processing the terrible news that Trevor has passed. Trevor was a proper Gentleman who always fought for the working peoples rights. He believed in all the good things. An avid York city supporter and just the best person to be able to call a friend. RIP mate
