Christopher (CHRIS)MURRAY(Fawdon ) Sadly, suddenly but peacefully in Abbey Court Nursing Home on 17th September, aged 90 years. He will be greatly missed by his ever loving wife and best friend of 65 years, Edith. Very much loved dad of Linda and father-in-law of Philip. He has been a loving brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, great, great uncle and grandad to Skye (his four legged friend), he was loved by all, also a very good friend to so many and loved dearly. (Late of Barlow Handling, Birtley). So many thanks to all the friendly, loving and caring staff at Abbey Court who made the last six months of his life so comfortable and well looked after to the end and became special friends. Special thanks to Dr Richard Croft (Abbey Court), Dr Kaura his family Doctor (Regent Medical Centre) for all his care over the years. Family and friends please meet for service at Trinity Church, Gosforth on Tuesday 5th October at 11.30am followed by cremation at the West Road Crematorium at 12.30pm. All welcome back for refreshments at the family home.
