Monica VeraNEILDIt is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Monica Vera Neild (nee Husband) aged 76 years, following a courageous battle with cancer. Monica will be lovingly remembered by Eric, her husband of 56 years; her daughter Helen and son Ian; and daughter in law Dawn and son in law David; her grandchildren: Emily, Daniel, Katie and Robert; as well as relatives and friends. Monica's Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Friday 26th August at St. Bede's Chapel, Teesside Crematorium, Acklam Road, Middlesbrough, TS5 7HD Monica did not want flowers but if desired Memorial donations may be made in her name to Teesside Hospice Care Foundation, 1 Northgate Road, Linthorpe, Middlesbrough TS5 5NW. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Teesside Hospice and the nurses and doctors of James Cook Hospital for their care and compassion in the treatment Monica received.

It was a privilege to get to know Monica during her time in Wellbeing at Teesside Hospice. She was a lovely person and we were all very sad to hear of her death.
