I remember how much Olive loved Elvis and I had arranged for Rory Allen (who is an Elvis Tribute artist) to come to the Regina airport and sing for her when she arrived for a visit to Canada. It was her birthday on the day she arrived and she was so thrilled. I miss her so very much and I will never forget her and her friendship!! I will miss being able to sing for her but I know that she can still hear me every day. She was a very special person and I will miss her lovely accent and her beautiful personality!!
Love you forever,
Alice Jones Smith

To my loving Big sister Olive, who meant the world to me even though we were thousands of miles apart, our hearts were ever near.
I am distraught at her loss. She was my best friend too, I could tell her my secrets and she has kept them still.I will miss her so much. Love forever.
