Matilda (Nee Ramsdale)OATWAY (Tilly)Tilly Nee Ramsdale Loving wife to the late Eric, devoted mum of Helen and Jonathan, much loved grandma of Thomas. Peacefully on 6th October aged 83 years of Ormesby, Acklam, Linthorpe and Saltburn. A much fondly remembered Primary School Teacher, she died peacefully with dignity after a long battle with horrid dementia, fought as she lived with stoicism, energy, querky humour and grace. Reunited with Eric, now dancing together forever. Funeral service to be held at Emmanuel Church, Saltburn-by-the-Sea on Friday 22nd October at 12.00 noon. Thanks to Doctor Broughton and the team on Zetland Ward for their gentle care provided in Tilly's final weeks. To Sue and Ian who visited from Emmanuel Church to pray with Tilly and to Debbie and Mary who gave so much more than care to us all as Tilly slipped into twilight. God bless you all.
