Madeleine Ruth (Madie)OLDHAMSadly passed away on 11th July 2022, aged 63 years, surrounded by her husband Guy, mum Enid and daughters Jenny and Meg. As a much-loved wife, mum, daughter, grandma, friend and all round chief organiser, Madie helped to make every day special. Her bubbly and caring personality made her a favourite with everyone she met, and her sense of fun meant they usually had a good story to tell about her. Although her family has always been proud of her, the strength and bravery she showed over the last few weeks made her truly remarkable. If resilience, determination and a positive outlook could have saved her, she'd have lived forever. A service to celebrate her life will be held at Trent Valley Crematorium, Aston-on-Trent on Monday 15th August 2022 at 11.30am. Family flowers only please and bright clothes are very welcome. Donations are invited for Cancer Research UK and Ashbourne Animal Welfare, which are charities close to Madie's heart. These can be made online at www.georgesimnett.co.uk or given at the service.
