John RussellORRIt is with the deepest sadness that the family announces the sudden and unexpected death of Russell Orr, aged 80 years, on Sunday 3 April during a family holiday to Barbados. Dearest husband of Brenda, devoted father to Julian and Roseanne, dearly loved Grandpa of Toby, Poppy, Theo, Beatrice and India. Loved and respected father-in-law, brother-in-law and good friend. Russell was a retired agronomist and actively involved with the wider community as former Chair of Governors at Caistor Grammar School, former Chairman of Brigg Round Table and past Seniors' Captain at Elsham Golf Club. The funeral and celebration of Russell's life will be held at All Saint's Church, Bigby, at 11.00 a.m. on Friday 27 May 2022 and afterwards in Bigby Village Hall. Family flowers only please, but donations in memory of Russell can be left at the service for All Saint's Church, Bigby or sent c/o J Naylor Funeral Directors, 15, Bigby Street, Brigg DN20 8EJ
