Robert 'Roy'OWENOWEN - ROBERT 'ROY', 14th May 2021. Passed away peacefully at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd, aged 79 years and of Orchard Grove, Mochdre. A dear Uncle to Melanie, Angela and Gareth. Roy will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends. Diolch o galon, a heartfelt thank you to Dr Fiona and Nurses Tammy, Lilly and Tanya, on DoSA Ward, for the care and kindness he received. Funeral 4th June. Service in line with current restrictions at Colwyn Bay Crematorium at 11am. Family flowers only please but donations in lieu of flowers will be gratefully received towards Roy's chosen charity, the British Heart Foundation. Arrangements conducted by Co-op Funeralcare, Emrys Morris & Son, 14 Dundonald Avenue, Abergele LL22 7LH. 01745 826 232.

I knew Roy from my early days in Broad Street Primary School, Llandudno Junction. We were, more or less in the same classes throughout our school life. We lost touch for many years, but were reunited on Facebook a few years ago. A reunion was planned but due to the Pandemic it unfortunately never materialised. My deepest condolences to all his family and I will miss his amusing and sometimes educational messages.
Rest in peace Roy my old friend.
