Goodbye Alan,
The biggest biscuit fan I've ever known.
Thank you for sharing all the fantastic stories of your adventures in Africa.
Your love for Jazz took me and my mother to Upton Jazz festival and I've been a fan of Jazz ever since... Thank you for driving me back to boarding school after weekend breaks. Thank you for making my mother happy.
That's the way I'll remember you.
Attached is the candle we lit on Christmas day when we learnt of your passing. There was an amazing optical illusion when I took the photograph of a reversed flame !
Rest in Peace in a beautiful starry sky...
Love Fern
