Deeply Loved Husband, Dad, Grandad and Brother, John will be remembered and missed by all who knew him through his work as a journalist and his love and knowledge of fishing, The River Severn and The Forest. If people wish to show their respects the cortege will pass through Newnham-on-Severn at 11.40 am on Wednesday January 27th. Due to Covid restrictions a family service will take place at St Mary's Church, Lydney at 12.15pm and The Forest of Dean Crematorium at 1.30pm. So many memories of him wadding through the river in his knee highs with Uncle Eric threatening to feed us to the fish if we missbehaved. He will be sadly missed. Love from all of the Rodgers family xx
