Joyce ChristinaRAWDING(née Northgraves) 22nd September 1939 - 11th August 2024

(Former Headteacher, Late of North Ferriby)

Died peacefully in hospital after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of the late Mike and Mum to Mark and Kathryn, Dave and Penny. Adored Nana to Emily, Connie, Ellie, Tom, Sam, Harry and Iris, sister to Pat and Jill and daughter of the late Jim and Kathleen.

An incredible woman whose passion for life and unwavering positivity will forever live on.

All welcome to attend a Celebration of Life funeral service to be held on Friday 30th August at All Saints Church, North Ferriby at 1pm followed by a private family cremation. Colourful clothes at Joyce's request.

Family flowers only please, however, Donations may be left at the service to All Saints Church, North Ferriby.

The family would very much like friends and family to join together after the service to remember Joyce at Ferriby Church Hall.

Barry, Christine and Duncan (lived 15 Southern Drive) send our heartfelt condolences to Mark and David and families on the loss of a wonderful Mother and grandmother. I always remember Joyce always laughing and the times we shared when she came and kept me company when Barry was at a sales meeting. Always made time for everyone especially Duncan. We wish we could be with you on Friday, but we are now in New Zealand. However, we shall be thinking about you. Reunited with Mike - Rest in Peace Joyce xxx

I had the privilege of working with Joyce at Adelaide Primary school. She was a great person to work for, with very forward thinking ideas about children and their education. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the funeral as I will be away, but I will be thinking of those times when we worked together. Sue Kirby
