JasonRAWSTRONRAWSTRON Private JASON LEE Mandy, Brett, Gary, Louise, Graham, Lindsay, Hayden and Jamie and all the Family wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all Relatives, Friends, Neighbours and Colleagues ? too numerous to mention individually who by their thoughts, words and deeds have been a source of great comfort and support to us upon the sudden and tragic loss of Jason. We have been overwhelmed by the personal letters, cards of condolence, words of hope and the much appreciated hugs and the show of love by our Family, Friends and even people we have never met who have had or have serving Sons and Daughters themselves and who have taken the time to pay their respects to Jay. A golden thank you to our Pam for being a tower of strength and to Mum and Dad for being such wonderful Parents. Thanks also to Ann-Marie, Karl and the Staff of The Forts Arms and Katie’s Café and Jan for the catering. Our grateful thanks also for the generous donations received on behalf of Help for Heroes. To all those concerned from the Army, especially Major Oliver Jedrej and Jason’s Regiment ? 2 Para, also the coffin bearers and Firing Party ? we will never forget your love and respect. Our thoughts are with Jason’s Regiment 2 Para, still serving in Afghanistan who took time out to pay their own personal tributes to Jay which helped us through the first few days. We have always been tremendously proud of Jason and we thank you all for making us feel so proud on the day. To the Police we extend our gratitude in ensuring that the cortege passed unhindered and with dignity. Our thanks to the representatives from the Council, to all branches of the Royal British Legion and especially to the community of Clayton-le-Moors for uniting with us at this time. We also thank Revd John Tranter for his understanding, prayers and ministrations and to all who attended the service and shared in our grief. Finally to Lianna and the staff of L Champ Funeral Services for looking after Jay and for their efficient and dignified care.
