RIP John from a distant friend PC Pete !! ( Peter Blyth) fond memories , of your honest hard working days with your family Alan Robert and Caroline , and supported by Joan , your lovely wife , you all worked very hard to build up your business and also your great work with many charities , including of course the Lions club of which I was a member for a while , remembering the great pool parties at your home after the donkey derby days raising thousands for charities etc , I left one such party , at about 4 am to get to work at the police horse stables in Birmingham from Coventry for 6 am , falling asleep in the saddle room to be woken up by my now late Inspector , to which I had to polish the brasses for a week , But I got let off as when he was a pc he was known as tired ted ,falling asleep also at work !!
Also turning up at your farm home to see you covered in oil under a lorry on a Sunday ,but always with a warm smile and a cup of tea .with The Stanleys of course
You inspired me to get a good start in my life John and Joan so I thank you with love and hope your looking down on us all from above with the big smile i will never forget
Blessings from Thailand as I am long retired now lived in Spain 17 yrs now Thailand In the sticks !!
