MavisRIDERAfter a long battle bravely fought, Mavis Rider, 85 years of Abbey Hulton, died peacefully at home in the care of her family on 20th July 2021. She was the dearly loved and much respected mum to Lizzie, Liam and Alison, cherished mother-in-law to Sarah, daughter of the late Annie and Leonard Lea and loving sister to Ann Fletcher and the late Pat Price. Mavis will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her, not least by her precious grandchildren whom she adored ; Alex, Seb, Charlie, Isabel and Noah. The funeral is to be held at Carmountside Crematorium at 1pm on Thursday August 12th followed by a celebration of Mavis' life at Trent Squash and Country Club, Birches Head.
