Myself and David were lucky enough to meet you and be apart of your special family ❤️ you made such a massive impact on everyone's lives and now our world has lost someone truly special. You are and will always be missed forever more. You and Linda are couple goals forever and always. Ernie,I still can't believe you've gone from when we first got to meet you in the early 1970s you made Linda my sister a very happy woman and brought up together a truly wonderful family to be proud of,just as they were so proud of you .We shared many times spent fishing,watching The Swans down the old Vetch then playing darts . Thank you for all the wonderful memories I have and will always cherish.

My dad, my hero. I'm so very proud of the man you were. If I am even slightly like you and mammy in any of your ways I am thankful. Thankful for having the very best Dad, everyone who knew you loved you and we all loved you so very much. There aren't enough words to describe the kindness and generosity you showed to every person you met and we have a million stories and memories of you. I still can't imagine living in a world where I don't speak to you every day but I know that I will spend the rest of my life making you proud. Thank you for the love, softness and humour you brought to mine and Izzy and Chloe's lives. Thank you for supporting me in every step of my life. Thank you Dad. I love you always 💛
