GlenysROGERSIt is with heavy hearts that we announce the sad passing of Glenys Rogers (nee Price) at home on 9th May 2022, aged 88-years. Glen moved from Nelson in South Wales to Derby 40-years ago and was lucky to enjoy a marvellous life with her family, many friends and numerous interests including Broadway Baptist Church and Cancer Research UK. Glen was a kind and loving wife to Percy, mother to Mark and Paul, mother-in-law to the late Joanne, and Christine, grandmother to Jonathan, Rhiannon, Victoria, Ailis, Iwan, Emer and Niamh, sister to Gillian, aunt, cousin and friend to many. She leaves a huge hole in our lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Thanks to Appletree Medical Practice, Gain Care and Treetops for their care and support. The funeral will be held on 6th June 2022. The committal will be held at Markeaton Crematorium at 1:30pm followed by a service of Thanksgiving at Broadway Baptist Church, Derby at 2:30pm.
