Malcolm (Mac)SCROWTHER(Pegswood) Peacefully on the 19th February aged 82 years, beloved husband of Frances, loving dad of Mac, Gary and Claire, a special granda and great granda, a dear brother to the late Ann and uncle to the late Duncan. A larger than life character, who always made you do a second take to work out if he was being serious. There was often a mischievous twinkle in his eye. I recall sitting in his garden, with Frances and Jordan and the tears rolling down our cheeks at an inappropriate remark. Wonderful! RIP Malcom.

It was such an honour to know Mac. I'd make sure he was my last stop before finishing my shift for a natter and to put the world to rights. He will be a huge miss. Sleep tight.
