John Shallcross; the man who alongside his other well known achievements in the voluntary sector, brought big time tennis to Northumberland at the County Ground in Jesmond during the 1980’s. A great character, inspirational leader and always up for a good time as a more than generous host. Taken too soon. Condolences to the family.

My former boss in the 70s along with his excellent Father, so caring and generous. I am sad to see his life taken in such a way. His parents were rightly so proud of him. Warm and happy memories of those days. Condolences to his family.
