ClareSHIELDSSHIELDS Peacefully, at home, on Tuesday 13th October, 2009, with her husband Eddie and sister Paula, as always by her side. CLARE lost her long, courageous battle against breast cancer, aged 39 years. Sadly missed by her two little boys Evan and Jared, her mum Margaret and much loved nephew Jonathan.Eddie and the family would like to thank relatives, friends and neighbours for all kind thoughts, mass cards andfloral tributes, together with their help and support at this very sad and difficult time. Special thanks to Father Sweeney and Sister Moira of St Patrick's, Coatbridge and Co-operative Funeral Care for funeral arrangements and a beautiful service on Saturday 17th October, 2009. Thanks also to everyone who made a donation towards Breast Cancer on Saturday. We are delighted that thanks to you we raised £1,020 towards BreastCancer Research. Much gratitude goes to the Breast Cancer Care Team at Monklands Hospital and all staff of Wards 6 & 15, the Oncology Team based at Beatson Hospital, Glasgow and Wishaw General Hospital and all staff of The Medical Day Care Unit, Wishaw General Hospital.
