AlexanderSIMPSON(Westerhope) (Former Supervisor at C. A. Parsons). Peacefully with members of his immediate family by his side on 24th August 2021 aged 89½ years. Alex beloved husband to Pat (deceased), much loved Dad of Ann & Ian and a dear uncle. One of life's gentlemen and a good friend to many. Funeral service at Westerhope Methodist Church on Tuesday, 7th September at 11am. Followed by Cremation at West Road Crematorium at 12pm. All welcome to Benwell Hill Cricket Club afterwards. No flowers please. Donations, in lieu, to Royal National Lifeboat Institute (RNLI).

Lovely memories of Uncle Alex and Auntie Pat as a child we went camping in Beadnell. Can remember Uncle Alex driving his grey Morris and his boat on the Tyne. Happy Times x June Rowan (Massey)
