PeterSLAUGHTERAshington Died peacefully on the 7th April 2024, aged 70 years. Peter devoted family man and beloved Husband of Christine. The best Dad to Ross, adored Grandad to Michael, Shannon & Sophie. Great Grandad to AJ, Logan, Jake, Mason, Michael, Isla-Rose & Rily. Much loved Brother of Gillian, Julie & the late Anne.

Funeral service to take place at Cowpen Crematorium, Blyth on Thursday 18th April at 2.30pm.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to British Heart Foundation. A donation box will be available at the crematorium.

I hadn’t seen Peter for 40 years when he approached me in the Indus before Christmas. We had a great reminiscence. Had hoped to meet up again but alas to no avail. I’ll forever remember watching the 1966 World Cup Final together, a great day. Rest in peace Peter from an old school friend
