FrancesSPEED1956 - 2020 Frances passed away peacefully in her sleep during the Spring, a time when everything is vibrant, bright and we are surrounded by emerald green. This somehow seems a fitting reflection of Frances and the joy she brought us all. Frances was born in Belfast and grew up in Northern Ireland with her beloved family, who she adored. She left Ireland 42 years ago, but it was always home to her heart. After a few decades of moving around, firstly with the Royal Artillery and then as children's entertainers, Frances and her husband Robert finally settled in their wonderful cottage in Claverton Down, where she lived for the last fifteen years. The cottage and it's garden were a place of great peace and sanctuary for Frances, particularly during Robert's passing at the end of 2018, and the family are extremely grateful to the Royal Artillery charity who's generosity enabled Frances to have her last years in this stunning location, amongst neighbours and friends that she loved. Family was the core of Frances' life and she was never happier than when she was in the garden surrounded by her children, walking the dogs, or taking her grandchildren on 'Fairy Walks' in Rainbow Woods. Frances worked as branch co-ordinator at Amplifon, where she was much loved by her many clients - and especially her best friend and colleague Mark, whom she cared for deeply. She will be greatly missed by the community she served, and we know that she loved them as much as they did her. An amazing and loving daughter, sister, mother and granny, who will be always missed and forever in our hearts. Donna, Katie, Emma and Claire
