Michael GordonSPICER (MBE)(Whitley Bay) Passed away at home on 25th September 2021, aged 98 years. Michael will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends. Please meet for a service of remembrance at St Andrew's United Reformed Church, Whitley Bay, on Tuesday 12th October at 12 noon. No flowers by request, donations in lieu if desired to the Woodland Trust.

I knew Michael as a fellow volunteer at the CAB several years ago and he did that among many other things to benefit his community.He was so gentle caring and kind and so many people benefitted from his help. A true gentleman in every sense of the word and fully deserving of his honour. RIP Michael and I wish we had more people like you in society.
