Sydney (Syd)SPITTLEHOUSEIt is with great sadness to announce the passing of Syd on the 27th February 2020. He gently fell asleep at home surrounded by his wife, Audrey and family. He will be missed deeply by all of us. His funeral is to be held at Ollerton Crematorium which is to be attended by his immediate family only due to the current situation at the moment. As there are to be no flowers, our family are making a donation to Bilsthorpe Surgery who have been amazing during Syd's care until he closed his eyes for the last time. If you would like to make a donation please contact Co-op Funeral Care of Rainworth for details.

A legend of a Grandad, you are missed by myself and your Grand Daughters Maisey and Sienna. Life isn't the same with you no longer being here, but at least you are reunited with Uncle Pete and Great Uncle Alan and now Grandma. Take care up there and thank you for being our Grandad next door. xx
